So I suppose It’s about time I make a more official announcement of why I’m flying to the UK.

At DreamHack where I host The DreamHack Game we usually have a wonderful team of British players, these players are in turn a part of UK’s biggest LAN, The Multiplay i-Series. The multiplay team liked our game so much they invited us over to hold a variation of it at their event!

We are given a whole lot more resources and possibilities at this event so it’s gonna be real fun trying to make the most of it. Unfortunately, it was kind of short notice. They told us a month or so in advance, which really isn’t short notice usually but to us it is, we normally plan these games 4-5 months in advance. Because of this we’re kind of tapped on great ideas and plan on doing most of the work on-place. I still hope we can manage to impress though and be able to come back!

All in all this means I get a paid flight to London and the opportunity to do something fun for a whole new crowd! If this all works out nicely I see a real future in the game, I want to change it’s structure a bit, perhaps reform our platform a bit.

The outlook of the game at DreamHack is pretty bad since DreamHack on a slippery slope to becoming the worst place in the world :P

So I’m leaving tomorrow and it’s gonna be a couple of days filled with very different kind of work and hopefully some beers with the guys and some fun as well!
