Day 7 update

I haven’t written because since we started school we’ve been very busy. The tempo is quite high in school and all the education is in Japanese, so it’s sort of weird (I’ll try to write more about that later). There are people with quite different pre-requisite knowledge so for some it’s sort of easy and for some (like me) it’s quite hard to follow along in class because there’s so much Japanese going on everywhere.

But I am learning! At this pace for a year I will surely be able to speak quite well and read/write pretty good too!

Tomorrow we’ll go get our alien registration cards so I can get the new iPhone 4, then I’ll have some more (mobile) internet access.

I’ve not had much energy to write on the blog and I feel that’s how it’s going to be in the future, but I do want to write sort of short quickie-updates now and then so I think I’ll try to figure out how to publish that kind of thing here on the blog. If you have suggestions on how that could be done in a pretty way then please write in the comments!

Every day that goes by I dislike this place more. It’s just a terrible, terrible study environment. It’s dirty, it’s run-down, it’s small. Hopefully we’ll be able to get an apartment soon.

I also have a cold.
