I made a video the day before yesterday and uploaded to YouTube and then went to bed, I later forgot to put it up here, so I’m doing that now :P

Since I made the video I’ve been out running once more (just came back from that). Feels really good when you’re back from it but sort of hesitant before getting out there. If I didn’t have Emma to run with today I probably wouldn’t have gone out. Now that I’m back though I feel awesome and more alert then ever! We ran 3.71km today in exactly 30 minutes. Shaved 5 minutes off the run and ran 100 meter further.

Another great thing about running is that it’s a fantastic (!) way to discover the city, we just run around randomly in streets, choosing turns as we go along so no run is like the other one. You see a lot of cool stuff when just running around, and you get a great insight into what the “normal” parts, i.e. not shopping-districts, of Tokyo look like! If you’re ever out traveling, I recommend running to discover your location!

Cool! I’m doing the exact same thing here. Been exploring the northern and eastern parts of Oxford, the river and some parks.

Keep on pushing how far you go, though — it gets better and better.

Yeah, running gives such an euphoric feeling, it’s awesome. But starting… damn it’s so hard. I’ve been running (and mountain biking) lots in the past to a point where close to 2 hours wasn’t enough anymore. I’m easily addicted (so says Emma lol) so that also goes for running and what it does to your body and mind. It’s pure drugs ;P

Seriously hope I can get myself to start again and then not overdo it. I think I make it too hard for myself thinking 20min. or 30min. isn’t enough. It’s probably because I’m simply too fat and I keep reading that you start burning fat after 20 to 30 minutes. So then I think “OK, I need to run at least 30 min. more after it starts…” Anyway, proud of you guys, keep running and keep into shape! xD

can you sideload .epub on to the kindle?

and also, do you use nike+ GPS or RunKeeper? I am on the latter, but thinking of switching, they have become such greedy bastards.. charging me to see stats like my average pace over several runs.. haven’t tried Nike+ GPS yet but I’ve heard some good stuff about it.

Painfully to start running but the apps make it more interesting. Nice to compete with yourself=) Also, adding friends to it, makes even more interesting.

epub on the kindle doesn’t seem to be supported straight up, so you have to convert. Though PDF and stuff like that works.

I use Nike+ GPS! I used RunKeeper for biking in Sweden but I like Nike+ a lot more..
